Trinidad Röd

Renault Floride was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1958. A small tail engined design by Pietro Frua in Carrozzeria Ghia. Renault Floride used the same floor panel and engine as in the Renault Dauphine sedan.

The Floride was later presented to the American public at the New York Motor Show in 1959. It was an instant success with more than 13,000 orders. With such high demand, Renault decided to build 200 cars a day instead of the 30 that the company had originally planned to manufacture.

Renault Floride was manufactured for three years from June 1959 to 1962.
