1981

The original Audi Quattro race car debuted in 1980, first as a development car and then more formally in the 1980 Janner Rally in Austria. Largely based on the body shell. In the current Quattro models (as opposed to the upcoming Group B cars), the engine in the original competition version produced approximately 304 hp (224 kW; 300 hp). In 1981, Michèle Mouton became the first female driver to win a world championship rally and just in an Audi Quattro. Over the next three years, Audi introduced the development of the A1 and A2 in Quattro in response to the new Group B rules, while increasing the power of the turbocharged 5-cylinder engine to approximately 355 hp (261 kW; 350 hp).

The Quattro A1 debuted at the season opener WRC 1983 Monte Carlo Rally and then won the Swedish Rally and Rally Portugal with Hannu Mikkolas behind the wheel. With legends such as Stig Blomqvist, Mikkola and Walter Röhrl, the A2 development won a total of eight world rallies, three in 1983 and five in 1984.

We can now present a Audi UR Quattro A2 Appendix K FIA from 1981. A true rally classic in fantastic condition.
The car has competed in the Midnight Sun Rally and the Swedish Rally Classic, among others.
The car is equipped with all the right parts. The engine provides about 400HP with a tight stepped short gearbox. Take the opportunity to strike at a real beast!
