Volvo Amazon was launched as a successor to the successful Volvo PV and was significantly more modern in comparison with the PV. The Amazon came in October 1961 in a two-door version and in a five-door version (station wagon) in February 1962. There was also a rapid demand for a sportier version of the Volvo Amazon. To meet these requirements, Volvo launched a GT version of the 120 series. The new car was named Volvo 123GT and was equipped with the Volvo B18B engine with an output of 115hp. In addition to this, the car received an extensive range of special equipment.\u00a0<\/p>

We can now present a nice and well-preserved Volvo 123GT painted in Dark Green (color code 94) with brown upholstery (425-552). The car has only 2 previous owners and the latest owner has owned the car since 1982. This car has mostly been parked in a warm garage and has only been used for shorter distances in the summer. According to previous owners' statements, the car has only traveled 75000 km, but this cannot be guaranteed. Most of the car is in original and nicely taken care of. The wheels have been replaced, but original wheels remain and are included in the purchase. During the change of ownership in 1982, the car was repainted and still has a nice luster even today.\u00a0
In terms of engine, the car runs really well with a working overdrive.<\/p>
